Lingfield Village

The local village to our campsite is Lingfield, which is about 1 mile away. There are many restaurants, pubs and takeaways. There are also two small supermarkets, as well as bakeries, a wine store and a pharmacy.

Nature and walks

Wakehurst Place

Wakehurst botanical gardens is a fifteen minute drive from Long Acres. Wakehurst is owned by the National Trust but used and managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. It has an impressive variety of trees set over 500 acres. You'll find an Elizabethan mansion surrounded by formal, walled gardens, which lead on to water gardens, meadow land and an aboratorium.

Rosie's Coffee Lounge is in Lingfield Village and has a children's play area. In school holidays there are often special events at Rosie's however please be aware that the coffee lounge is not open at weekends. Outdoor pursuits at Blacklands Farm is a fifteen minute drive from Long Acres and has a range of outdoor pursuits such as abseiling, a climbing wall and archery.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome at Long Acres! We ask that they are kept on their leads at all times whilst on site please. There are some lovely walks for four legged friends to enjoy!
